A strong foundation for every new colleague
A successful onboarding experience helps new employees feel connected from the very beginning. It introduces the organisation, builds relationships and creates a shared understanding of its values and way of working. To support these goals, Eiffage partnered with Businessgames to develop the ‘Construct Eiffage’ Onboarding Game. The bilingual experience, available in Dutch and French, has been a permanent part of the Benelux welcome programme for more than eight years.
Build together. Learn together.
Participants begin in six competing construction companies, each working on realistic construction projects for fictional clients. Every challenge requires teams to understand customer needs before making decisions and planning their work.
Teams select the right equipment, manage resources and complete projects while responding to changing circumstances. Along the way, they discover that successful construction is about more than delivering projects. It also depends on collaboration, communication and customer satisfaction.
The Onboarding Game also introduces participants to Eiffage’s history, organisational structure and core values. By experiencing the organisation instead of simply reading about it, new employees quickly develop a stronger understanding of how every part of the business works together.
Not only that, but the game creates meaningful connections from the very first day. Participants build relationships with colleagues across the Benelux while gaining valuable insight into Eiffage’s culture and customer-focused mindset. The interactive experience accelerates integration, strengthens collaboration and gives every new employee the confidence to contribute from the moment they join the organisation.
