From a new approach to everyday practice
A new way of working only creates value when employees understand it and apply it with confidence. That is why the Gemeente Bergen op Zoom (Municipality of Bergen op Zoom) introduced a renewed project-based working approach, supported by practical templates that provide structure throughout every project. To bring this approach to life, Businessgames developed an interactive Serious Game called ‘Project-Based Working’. Rather than focusing on theory, participants experience how the new methodology helps them deliver successful projects in practice.
Experience project-based working
Teams work on projects based on real situations from within their own organisation. Using the new templates, they move through every stage of the project lifecycle. From creating a clear Project Plan to delivering the final result, every step requires careful thought and collaboration. Along the way, participants make decisions, solve challenges and immediately apply the new way of working. Every choice calls for teamwork, communication and critical thinking. Teams discover not only how the templates work, but also why they contribute to stronger project outcomes.
The interactive format encourages participants to put their knowledge into practice straight away. At the same time, it creates opportunities to exchange experiences and learn from one another.
