‘The SDG Challenge’ is set in a fantastic, complex and unpredictable world. The world consists of multiple progressive countries. Your goal? To run, together with your team, a sustainable and prosperous country whilst also keeping your consumers, employees, shareholders and society happy. How? By buying assets that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests.
To purchase SDG-focused assets, teams need three types of currency. However, each country has access to only one type of currency. This means that negotiation with other teams is required to obtain all three types of currency. Collaboration between teams is mandatory! Additionally, various incidents threaten the achievement of the SDGs. When each team actively participates and dares to take real steps, a sustainable world can be realised. Towards the end, teams will visualise their assets by actually building them on a large world map. Which team is the most aware of the SDGs and wins this Business Game?
