Onboarding that connects and engages
Great onboarding is about more than sharing information. New employees want to get to know the organisation, build connections and discover how they can contribute to its success. To create a memorable first experience, Businessgames partnered with a.s.r. to develop an interactive Onboarding Game called ‘Het Verzekeringsspel’ (‘The Insurance Game’). During the game, participants manage their own fictional insurance company. Along the way, they discover how strategic decisions influence business performance.
Experience the world of insurance
The game begins with an introduction that brings teams together. Participants get to know one another and define the strategy for their own insurance company. They establish their core values, shape their ambition and present their organisation to the other teams. Next, participants make strategic decisions about insurance premiums, investments and financial growth. They analyse current information, respond to unexpected events and continuously balance opportunities with risks.
As the game progresses, new challenges emerge. Teams must analyse changing situations, make informed decisions and work closely together. Along the way, they discover how different parts of an organisation influence one another and contribute to shared success.
