Twice a year, Businessgames partners with Marktlink to deliver a unique two-day onboarding experience for the company’s newest colleagues. Set in a secluded woodland location, away from the distractions of everyday work, the event immerses participants in the world of Marktlink from the moment they arrive.

Throughout the programme, inspiring keynote speakers introduce participants to the organisation, its departments and the people behind the business. Interactive game elements alternate with each session, creating an engaging onboarding experience that combines learning with practical application.

Experience Marktlink

From the very first day, participants think and act like entrepreneurs. Teams cold-call fictional companies, building confidence, sharpening their commercial mindset and strengthening their communication skills in a safe and supportive environment. Later, teams negotiate with one another to sell their fictional business to the right buyer. Along the way, they develop their strategic thinking, persuasion skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.

On the second day, participants step into a dynamic business simulation inspired by the way Marktlink operates. Each team takes on its own role with specific objectives and responsibilities. Teams must share knowledge, support one another and make smart tactical decisions to succeed. The strongest teams recognise that collaboration—not competition alone—drives the best results.

By the end of the programme, new employees leave with far more than a better understanding of the organisation. They have built meaningful relationships, strengthened essential commercial skills and experienced Marktlink’s entrepreneurial culture first-hand. The programme creates confidence, builds lasting connections and gives every participant a flying start.
