Schiphol Commercial
Team Building Games
Client: Schiphol Commercial
Location: The Netherlands
Target group: employees of the real estate and commerce department of Schiphol
Objective: improve collaboration, train communication skills, and networking
During this Business Game, the teams from Schiphol Commercial represent airports, airlines, and countries. The teams make agreements on inflight aviation magazines, the hiring of Schiphol employees, and marketing budgets for advertisements.
Promising collaborations are threatened by changing budgets and unexpected incidents. As true entrepreneurs, the teams are challenged to quickly adapt and manage the situation effectively.
The game highlights everyone’s talents and shows how teams can effectively collaborate. The underlying goal is to establish a triangular cooperation and create a win-win-win situation where everyone understands each other’s roles. Participants experience the power of the Gestalt Game model: “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.”
Airports aim to assemble a crew of Schiphol employees, while airlines and countries try to earn as much money as possible. Do the participants dare to make quick decisions and succeed in getting everyone on board on time? Or is there a miscommunication, and do they fail to take off? The teams from Schiphol Commercial take the pilot’s seat… And at the end, three teams are crowned as winners!
